On Sunday evening, Aug. 15, 2021, after having the opportunity to see all seven of his grandchildren throughout the weekend, and with his wife of 53 years, Kathy, daughter Shelly, son-in-law Gabe, son Shawn, and daughter-in-law Lisa by his side, John Patrick Bleile took his final breath on this earth.
Unwind after a long week at Midland Center for the Arts' happy hour, Uncorked, featuring Michigan trumpeter and guitarist Jacob Wisenbach. He has performed in a variety of groups in the Tri Cities, including The Standard Session, Barbarossa Brothers, The Straight Eights, Chemical City Band and more. Wisenbach's group The Standard Session received a Review Music Award for Best Small Combo and Best Big Band. Uncorked is a weekly outdoor happy hour that takes places from 5:30-8 p.m.in front of the Center. Drink specials and hors d'oeuvres will be available for purchase while guests enjoy free, live music.
