EMPORIUM — The Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial Library is presenting “The Art and Practice of Seed Saving” in partnership with Penn State Extension. Elk County Master Gardener, Stephen Marconi, will be presenting this great seed saving class on July 24 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the library’s multipurpose room. Space will be limited, so register early to attend this free class.

Berkeley County Library System (BCLS) is collaborating with Keep Berkeley Beautiful and received a generous “seed” donation to implement a Seed Library. Customers can visit BCLS, click on Catalog and search Seed Library for a variety of herb and vegetable seed packets to check-out and keep (seed packets are not returned to the library).
