Studio Theatre announces 2022/23 season

As Studio Theatre concludes its $20 million Open Studio capital campaign, the Theatre looks forward to its first full season in its completely renovated building, marked by gripping, of-the-moment new works and next-generation talent. 2022-2023 is Studio’s largest Main Series subscription season ever, six productions that range from intimate drama to riotous comedy to theatrical spectacle to celebrated musical. Evenly split between previously announced titles delayed by the pandemic and new productions, the season also marks the return to directing for Studio Artistic Director David Muse.

Washington D.C. – Broadway at The National is delighted to announce the finalists for the inaugural Brandon Victor Dixon Awards. The Brandon Victor Dixon Awards highlights excellence in high school musical theatre, and is the newest regional partner of the National High School Musical Theatre Awards® (NHSMTA®), also known as The Jimmy Awards®. Our awards program is named in honor of Brandon Victor Dixon, a Tony, Emmy, and Grammy Award nominee originally from Gaithersburg, Maryland.
