Fernando Tatis Jr. continues to do unthinkable things on a nightly basis. The San Diego Padres shortstop has quickly become one of the faces of the MLB for his play on the field and the excitement he brings to the game. On Thursday against the Miami Marlins, Tatis became the fastest player in MLB history to have 50 homers and 50 stolen bases when he stole second in impressive fashion.

Marlins frustration boils over with reported altercation in clubhouse

Miami Marlins outfielders Monte Harrison and Starling Marte were involved in a fight in the team’s clubhouse during their three-game series in Washington. The Miami Marlins season hasn’t gone how they thought it would. After reaching the playoffs last season, the team finds itself at the cellar of the NL East with a 41-55 record. A recent COVID scare and a plethora of injuries haven’t made the Marlins season any less stressful. With their playoff hopes on life support, the team needs to find a way to win some games.
