The Pitt Panthers have had a week off and time to mend any injuries received over the past five weeks before facing a road trip to Virginia Tech on Oct. 16 at 3:30 p.m. The Panthers are fresh off of a big win over the Atlantic Coastal Conference (ACC) Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta where the final score was 52-21. It could have been higher as the the Panthers opted to run out the clock on the one yard line and forego upping the huge lead. Pitt has defeated Georgia Tech in the last four meetings of the teams.
