'The Walking Dead' Star Norman Reedus' Son With Helena Christensen Arrested for Assault

Mingus Reedus, the 21-year-old son of The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus and model Helena Christensen, was arrested for allegedly striking a woman in New York City Friday night. Reedus was charged with misdemeanor assault for allegedly hitting a 24-year-old woman on Mulberry and Grant Streets during the San Gennaro festival in Little Italy at about 10:15 p.m. ET Friday, police told the New York Daily News Saturday. Reedus' parents have not commented on his arrest.

Police arrested the 21-year-old son of "The Walking Dead" star Norman Reedus Friday night in Little Italy for allegedly punching a woman in the face. Mingus Reedus was arrested and slapped with an assault charge for throwing a punch at a 24-year-old woman around 10 p.m. amid the San Gennaro festival in the Lower Manhattan neighborhood.

Pirates will join Newport's 'Halfway to St. Patrick's Day' celebration on Saturday

NEWPORT — Pirates don’t necessarily scream St. Patrick’s Day, but the chair of the Newport St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee is rolling with it. On Saturday between noon at 8 p.m., pipe bands and Free Men of the Sea, a pirate reenactment group, will rotate around Newport establishments as part of the first ever St. Patrick’s Day party, hosted by the parade committee, in lieu of a traditional parade.
