Franklin County Fairgrounds Fundraiser Gets Some Famous Support

(Greenfield, MA) — The effort to repair an erosion problem at the Franklin County Fairgrounds is receiving a boost from arguably Greenfield’s most famous son. Magician and Greenfield native Penn Gillette of “Penn and Teller” fame has tweeted a message of support for the fairgrounds project, which is currently the focus of an on-line fundraiser. Gillette and his partner Teller each donated $1,000 to the Go Fund Me campaign, which is looking to raise $75,000 toward the project.
