A hit-and-run accident injured 5 people near the Westgate Hotel (Las Vegas, NV)

On Sunday morning, five people suffered injuries following a hit-and-run crash near the Westgate Hotel. According to LVMPD, the incident took place at the intersection of Paradise Road and Karen Avenue at about 3:09 a.m. As per the initial reports, a red 2015 Crysler 300 was heading North on Paradise Road, and a silver 2021 Ford Fusion was attempting to make a left-hand turn onto Karen Avenue.

Police are searching for a suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of a man Saturday in a central valley alley. At 9:48 p.m., Metro Police received a report of a shooting in the 1100 block of Toni Avenue, near Tropicana Avenue and Maryland Parkway, according to a news release. Officers located an adult male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds when they arrived at the scene.
