Star Wars ‘The Bad Batch’ Episode Twelve Easter Eggs

Clone Force 99 is back on Ryloth for a rescue mission and to teach Hera some skills we have definitely seen her use in Rebels this week on The Bad Batch. If you (like me) were expecting the Bad Batch’s time spent with Hera and Ryloth was a one time occurrence where we saw part of Hera’s backstory and would be left to speculate about the rest, you may have been pleasantly surprised to see a return to our favorite future pilot and angry droid as the Batch return to help save Cham and Eleni Syndulla and Gobi Glie from Imperial custody. At the beginning of the episode Hera messages them to ask for help in a scene that was reminiscent Princess Leia asking Obi-Wan for help via droid transmission in A New Hope. Down to the pose and the implication that they are the only place she has to turn.

Obi-Wan Kenobi Rumor Hints at Return of a Star Wars Rebels Villain

A rumor suggests that one of the villains from the animated series Star Wars Rebels will make their live-action debut in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+. Previous reports indicated that Obi-Wan (played again by Ewan McGregor) would cross lightsaber blades with the Inquisitorious. They're a group of Jedi-hunting dark side Force-users, mostly former Jedi who survived Order 66, trained by Darth Vader. Cinelinx reports having learned at least one specific Inquisitor appearing in the show. We already know that Sung Kang, best known for playing Han in The Fast Saga, is part of the show's cast. Cinelinx claims he plays Fifth Brother, one of the Inquisitors that appeared in Star Wars Rebels.

Star Wars Has Recast Princess Leia

When an actor who plays a character, especially one that is iconic, dies, it leaves open questions on how to handle casting. A prequel series has an easier out, and that is what is happening with the Obi-Wan Kenobi series as it is set to star a new Princess Leia.
