Joseph “Joe” Patrick Matheney, 80, of Keokuk, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021, at Blessing Hospital in Keokuk. Joe was born on April 18, 1941, in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of Charles and Carmileta (Selby) Matheney. He attended St. Mary’s Grade School and graduated from Cardinal Stritch High School in 1959, later attending Southeastern Community College. In 1963, he was united in marriage to Julia “Julie” Wood at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Keokuk. She survives.
