Spectra, the provider of venue management at the Tony's® Pizza Events Center, and the City of Salina, have announced a three-year partnership with Crown Distributors, LLC. This partnership gives Crown Distributors preferred advertising status for its brands such as Coors Light, Miller Lite, Blue Moon and White Claw, at Tony’s Pizza Events Center.

MAAC endorses keeping basketball tournament in Atlantic City

If the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference has its way, its men's and women's basketball tournaments won’t be returning to Albany for at least a few more years. MAAC commissioner Rich Ensor said Wednesday the league has endorsed a three-year contract extension to keep the tournament in New Jersey at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall. The tournament will be held at Boardwalk Hall on March 8-12, 2022, in the final year of their original three-year deal.

City preparing convention center for reopening

The city is preparing to reopen the Roswell Convention Center for events this fall, taking on the management of the facility itself rather than contracting with a third party. When city officials first publicly discussed reopening the convention center in May, they said they wanted to wait until hotel occupancy rates had stabilized at about 75%. The convention center is funded by the 5% lodgers’ tax and a convention center fee of $2.50 per hotel room per day, and at 75% generates enough revenue to operate the convention center, City Manager Joe Neeb said in May.

First Major Event Announced For Terre Haute Convention Center

VIGO COUNTY, Ind – The Vigo County Capital Improvement Board and Spectra Venue Management formally announced the coming Terre Haute Convention Center’s first convention booked – The Professional Fire Fighters Union of Indiana (PFFUI). The PFFUI will host their bi-annual state-wide convention at the Terre Haute Convention Center in May 2023.
