Liam Ridgewell returns to Portland Timbers to join broadcast team

Liam Ridgewell, is returning to the Portland Timbers, but not as a member of the roster this time, instead joining the organization as a member of the television broadcast team. Ridgewell will be an analyst alongside a crew that currently features Jake Zivin and Ross Smith in the booth, but there are plans for him to make content contributions across the team’s various digital platforms.

Former Timbers captain Liam Ridgewell joins PTFC broadcasting team

Ridgy is back in the Rose City... behind the microphone this time. The Portland Timbers announced today that Liam Ridgewell has rejoined the club as a member of the Timbers’ broadcasting team. Ridgewell will join normal commentators Jake Zivin and Ross Smith as an analyst in the booth for locally broadcast Timbers matches. He will also help produce content across all of the club’s digital platforms.
