Officer Hurt in Motorcycle Crash on South Coast Highway [Oceanside, CA]

OCEANSIDE (October 25, 2021) – One officer sustained non-life threatening injuries after a motorcycle crash on South Coast Highway . The incident happened shortly before 3 P.M. on South Coast Highway. Eventually, the first responders arrived at the scene and transported the officer to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla.

The storm is moving quickly across the region, as the front is perpendicular to the jet stream. Salvage crew’s access to smouldering ship hampered by storm on B.C.’s coast

VICTORIA — The Canadian Coast Guard says a fire aboard a container ship off the coast of Victoria continues to smoulder. The coast guard says in a statement posted on social media that a salvage crew from Resolve Marine is on the scene, but the wind storm that lashed Vancouver Island and the south coast has prevented anyone from boarding the ship.
