Astros RHP Zack Greinke placed on 10-day IL with neck soreness

Houston Astros right-hander Zack Greinke was scratched from his scheduled start Friday night against the Oakland A's and placed on the 10-day injured list with neck soreness. Greinke said his neck pain began Wednesday and he doesn't know when he might return, according to Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle.

Phillies' Odubel Herrera: Exits with left ankle soreness

Herrera was removed from Friday's game against the Pirates due to left ankle soreness, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports. Herrera went 1-for-2 with a strikeout to begin Friday's matchup, but he was replaced defensively in the top of the fifth inning.
