First ever 'Sneaker Ball' held to celebrate Macon's 200th birthday

MACON, Ga. — Get ready to get all dressed up - but don't forget your sneakers!. Macon-Bibb County's first ever 'Sneaker Ball' is being held at the Macon City Auditorium. Mayor Lester Miller is hosting the event on Friday December 9th, 2022, as part of the Bicentennial Celebration as Macon Celebrates its 200th birthday in 2023.

Prada to Release New Colorway of America’s Cup Sneaker

This month, Prada will roll out a new colorway of its classic America’s Cup sneaker. Starting Dec. 5, visitors to this section of the official Prada site will have the chance to purchase the colorway, which (per a press release) maintains “the same vision as the original” while incorporating a modernized sole first seen in the label’s Spring/Summer 2018 men’s show.

Originally debuted in 1995 as part of a five-piece City Pack, the Air Jordan 10 “Orlando” returned for the first time in December 2018.
