7 arrested in alleged SGF narcotics bust

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office announced the “narcotics arrests” of seven people after searching a South Glens Falls residence. They said they arrested Caitlin Pruess, 30, on November 23 after a lengthy drug trafficking investigation. She is accused of selling crack/cocaine heroin, fentanyl, and crystal methamphetatime throughout Saratoga County.

South Dakota’s largest Fentanyl seizure enough to kill more than 3 million people

ROBERTS COUNTY, S.D. ( — More than 16 pounds of Fentanyl and Fentanyl laced pills were seized in a Roberts County drug bust over the weekend. According to the Roberts County Sheriff’s Office a deputy, working with a Sisseton-Wahpeton Tribal Police Officer, made the traffic stop on Saturday (11/26). It’s said to be the largest Fentanyl seizure in South Dakota history and would have had the potential to kill over 3.6 million people. Two people were arrested. The street value of the drugs, which included around 53,000 pills, is more than 2 million dollars.

An unprecedented quantity of fentanyl was seized in Roberts County last weekend, according to the Roberts County Sheriff's Office. In a Facebook post Saturday, Sheriff Tyler Appel stated a county deputy and a Sisseton-Wahpeton tribal police officer worked together on the drug bust. About 16 pounds of fentanyl and fentanyl-laced pills were seized during a traffic stop, the largest seizure of fentanyl in South Dakota's history, according to a press release.
