GIPS struggling to fill job vacancies weeks before school starts

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Compared to years past, Grand Island Public Schools (GIPS) has nearly double the amount of job vacancies just a week before school starts. The department has been struggling to find qualified candidates. Right now they’ve got 40 job openings across various departments including 15 full-time and part-time teaching positions. GIPS Chief Human Capital Manager Kristen Irey believes the state’s unemployment rate and an unprecedented amount of people retiring plays a role.

I’m Terminal; What Are My Wife’s Options as My Survivor?

I’m 60 and my wife is 62. I have terminal Stage IV prostate cancer, but my wife is in pretty good health. If I draw at 62 would that affect my wife’s survivor benefits? When should she start to withdraw? Also, when I die what would she get? Would she get her SS and then something of mine? Or must she choose between keeping hers and taking my survivor benefit? AEW Dynamite: Malakai Black Ruins Cody Rhodes' Attempt at Retiring

Malakai Black beat Cody Rhodes in dominant fashion at the end of this week's AEW Dynamite, knocking him out with a Black Mass before pinning him with a single boot across the chest. Rhodes then slowly made his way to his feet and started cutting what seemed to be a retirement announcement promo.
