Friday morning car chase in Lawton ends in crash

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - A car chase in Lawton ended in a crash Friday morning. Lawton police tells us it started around 3:45 a.m. when LPD tried to pull someone over for reckless driving, and that’s when the driver took off. After a short chase, it ended around 76th and Hunter when the driver crashed into a fire hydrant and then a tree. No injuries were reported and the driver was taken into custody.

Centralia woman arrested after allegedly striking a person and vehicle before leaving scene

A 33-year-old Centralia woman has been arrested on multiple charges after allegedly striking the hand of a person and another vehicle before leaving the scene. Centralia Police say Errian Johnson was part of a domestic dispute late Wednesday night where she reportedly refused to leave a home in the 600 block of West Sixth. After leaving once, Johnson allegedly returned and reportedly drove into a person hitting their hand and then crashing into a parked SUV. In the process, the bumper that included the license plate came off.

Volunteer firefighter is charged with reckless driving

An email from Virginia State Police (VSP) Sergeant Brent Coffey confirms that Warren County volunteer firefighter Conor Wright is being charged with reckless driving. The 25 year old Wright of Front Royal was the driver of a Front Royal Volunteer Fire Department fire truck returning from a call when he collided with another vehicle on Strasburg Road.


A Glendale woman was jailed following an alleged DUII/reckless driving incident on Wednesday. A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at about 5:20 p.m. a deputy came upon a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Glendale Valley Road and Azalea Glen Road in Glendale. A 57-year old woman had reportedly driven through the intersection without stopping, and t-boned another occupied vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle was not injured. The first driver received a superficial laceration on the head.

Madison Police Arrest Two On Various Charges

November 30, 2021, Officer Nichole Midgett executed a traffic stop in the area of Harrison and Second Streets. The driver was identified as John P. Parker 36, Carrollton, Kentucky. During her interaction with the driver, Officer Midgett noted Parker was operating his Toyota Corolla passenger car with an altered temporary plate. In addition, Parker did not have the vehicle in which he was operating, properly insured.

Update on Tuesday fatal collision on Interstate 95

Two people died Tuesday following a head-on collision on Interstate 95. Thirty-year old Jermaine Ricardo Bernard, of Richmond, was eluding law enforcement in a 2018 BMW traveling southbound in a northbound lane when he struck a 2011 Lincoln with Connecticut plates head-on. Both Bernard and his female passenger were ejected from the car.

Driver leads troopers on stolen car chase on I-75 in Estero

ESTERO, Fla. – A driver was arrested early Friday morning after leading troopers on a chase in a stolen car on I-75 eventually ending in a crash in Estero. The driver, who has not yet been identified, led troopers on a chase in a stolen Toyota Camry before crashing around mile marker 124 near the Corkscrew Road exit, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
