Multiple Tigers featured on Bleacher Report's All-21st Century Team

Recently, Bleacher Report's Kerry Miller broke down the All-21st Century Teams from each conference. Last week, Miller wrote about the top players of the 21st century from the American/Big East conference, and he featured multiple Tigers on the list. Despite the illustrious talent that played in the Big East in...

Ravens Football – More Than Just a Game

“Go Back to where you started, or as far back as you can, examine all of it, travel your road again and tell the truth about it. Sing or shout or testify or keep it to yourself; but know whence you came.” – James Baldwin (likely not a football fan) from his book “Go Tell It On the Mountain”.

B/R's American/Big East All-Conference College Football Team of 21st Century

Neither the Big East nor the American Athletic Conference has produced a Heisman winner since Miami (Florida) QB Gino Torretta in 1992, but those leagues have churned out almost a full starting roster's worth of consensus/unanimous All-Americans thus far in the 21st century. B1G 2021: Rutgers Week Potluck #3! Nice Things

So I’ll shoot straight. I know people hate New Jersey (and screw you). Somehow this still persists in the year 2021. People hate New Jersey so much that we are the only state (as far as I can tell) that has a “Be Nice to It” week. Yes, the first...

B1G 2021: Rutgers Potluck #2! Offense and Weird Questions

So.. uhhh. Doesn’t take me writing this to tell you that Rutgers’ offense has struggled the last, oh, say, 10 years. Some may remember the tandem of Ray Rice and Brian Leonard, backed up with Kenny Britt and Tiquan Underwood (ALL OF WHICH were NFL bound) back in the 00s. This is not that team. Can it be? Maybe. Let’s dive into the skill positions and line.

Re: Frank Martin had some really interesting comments about the NIL

The college sports situation needs to a have a huge asterisk * moving forward. Kids will make decisions on NIL money/contract opportunities and not with their heart. Programs will suffer, there will be more turnover, more transfers and great coaches will struggle. Throwing more money at more staff, NIL centers, etc hurt the programs college sports.

By protecting Dan Snyder, the NFL potentially protected other owners

The NFL, based on Beth Wilkinson’s investigation, generally found serious misconduct within the Washington Football Team. The NFL will not be sharing specific details about the behavior that resulted in the broad-brush findings that culminated in a $10 million fine, up to $7 million in attorneys’ fees, and a “voluntary” relinquishment of day-to-day control of the team by owner Daniel Snyder, which reportedly will end only when Commissioner Roger Goodell authorizes it.
