My AP top 25 college football ballot: It was a good week for Purdue and Notre Dame

Purdue is an interesting football team. The Boilermakers (6-3, 4-2 Big Ten) have one of the more hot-and-cold resumes I have ever seen at this point in a season. On the hot side, they have very impressive victories over Iowa and Michigan State to go along with solid wins over Oregon State and Nebraska. On the cold side, they have a head-scratching loss to Minnesota and a pair of non-competitive defeats against Notre Dame and Wisconsin.

2021 Purdue Football: Is Just a Bowl Game Enough?

Indiana (2-6) As long as Purdue wins just one of those games it will play in a postseason bowl game somewhere. ESPN currently projects them at the Pinstripe Bowl in Yankee Stadium against Clemson or Louisville, so they are confident that there will be one more win. The Las Vegas Bowl, Redbox Bowl, Music City Bowl, Cheez-It Bowl, and QuickLane Bowl are also possibilities. Regardless of destination, Purdue enters the final month of the season not only alive for a bowl game, but favored for one.

Purdue Football: Everything But The Tackle

Purdue’s defense played well enough to win against Wisconsin. Wisconsin is a tough offense to hold up against when they are free to play at their pace and pound the ball at your defense while only passing when they want to pass. Purdue’s offense allowed that to happen, not their defense.

Purdue Football: Injuries Continue to Mount

At this point, these two phrases are synonymous. Yesterday, Coach Brohm announced that two more players would be done for the year. This time, it is two former four star recruits. Mershawn Rice and Abdur-Rahmaan Yaseen. Both, were quietly having good years as back ups to Miilton Wright and David...

Purdue Football: Mid-Term Grades - Defensive End

Welcome back from the off week. I hope we all took some time to recharge our college batteries, get some stuff done in the yard, and maybe watch a stress free college football game or two (I’m told there were a few exciting ones last Saturday). This article should have...
