Kittanning State Trooper Cited Over Allegations Of Unwarranted Use Of Force

By: KDKA-TV News Staff KITTANNING, Pa. (KDKA) – An Armstrong County state trooper has been cited over allegations of unwarranted use of force. The state police say trooper Nickolas Elliott was issued a citation Thursday for a summary offense of harassment. (Photo: Pennsylvania State Police) The charge stems from an allegation of unwarranted use of force. “PSP does not tolerate such action in any situation and takes these allegations seriously,” state police said in a news release. Elliott enlisted in Oct. 2016 and is assigned to the patrol section of Troop D, Kittanning. He’s been suspended without pay pending the resolution of the criminal charge against him.

BEAVER MEADOWS BOROUGH, CARBON COUNTY — Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) arrested a Carbon County man for allegedly breaking the femur of his five-month-old child. On Tuesday, September 14, at around 4:20 p.m., PSP arrived at the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton for a five-month-old male child with a broken femur, the release report reads.

Whatcom County Health officials issued a statement Wednesday, September 23rd, saying that high levels of harmful biotoxins have been found in area shellfish. PSP investigating burglary, theft of medical marijuana in Fairfield Township

Muncy, Pa. – Pennsylvania State Police at Montoursville are investigating a burglary in Fairfield Township in which the suspects stole medical marijuana. The suspects entered the victim’s residence on O’Dell Road sometime during the day on Sept. 7 while the victim was working. While inside, the suspects stole $60 worth of medical marijuana and then fled the scene in an unknown vehicle, according to state police.
