The Packers need to make Eric Stokes a full-time starter over Kevin King. From the moment the Green Bay Packers used a first-round pick on Eric Stokes, the pressure was on Kevin King to improve. King signed a one-year ‘prove it’ deal in the offseason, which came as a surprise...
The Miami Dolphins called the worst play of the week against the Las Vegas Raiders. Pinned against their own goal line, the Dolphins dialed up a quick screen pass to Jaylen Waddle. Waddle caught the ball and was immediately tackled for a safety, making NFL history in the process. Things...
NFL DFS Picks Week 4: Best sleepers, value players for DraftKings, FanDuel daily fantasy football lineups
What do you know, we had another wild week in the NFL (and daily fantasy football)! Kansas City and Tampa Bay each lost, Denver and Carolina continued their undefeated starts, and Jason Tucker extended the record for longest field goal of all time to 66 yards. We’re two sentences in, and I’m already sweating! Let’s keep the madness going and jump into Week 4 of our DFS values and sleeper picks!
The story of the tight end position is a tale similar to every sports offseason. There's annual optimism in advance of the season. Yet, optimism turns into reality without fail, and every team isn't playing for a championship. Or, in the case of tight ends, the many mid and late-round breakout candidates fail to materialize into weekly contributors.
Suddenly, the Raiders are the most entertaining show in Las Vegas. Coach Jon Gruden’s squad beat the Dolphins in an overtime thriller on Sunday, 31-28, after Las Vegas fell behind 14-0 in the first quarter. The Raiders stormed back with 25 unanswered points and overcame late-game adversity to get the victory.
The first month of the 2021 NFL season is nearly complete. That means fantasy football managers should assess their rosters and make some adjustments if necessary. At this point, it's starting to become clear which players aren't living up to the hype. Managers who have been exercising patience with some of their underperforming draftees may want to cut their losses and dive into the waiver-wire pool for an upgrade.
The Pittsburgh Steelers offense has been unable to get going much thus far during the 2021 season, the significant amount of changes from just a year ago doing them no favors in terms of their ability to come together as a unit. Many feel, though, that the biggest problem with...
NFL Week 3 rookie QB grades: Mac Jones comes down to Earth; Trevor Lawrence, Justin Fields take their lumps
Third time's the charm? Not quite for some guys. Rookie quarterbacks haven't exactly set the NFL on fire yet. That's what happens when you're, well, a rookie. Sunday's games provided the best opportunity for the most intriguing rookie passer to get a chance to do so. Justin Fields got his first crack at starting in the NFL, and it's going to be a day he'll want to forget.
Once again, we start our coverage of this week’s Minnesota Vikings game with a look back at the history between the Vikings and their opponent. This week, the purple will welcome the Cleveland Browns to U.S. Bank Stadium, and though there isn’t a lot of history between these teams, what history there is does lean pretty heavily towards the Vikings.
We're starting to hit our groove a bit here with seven of the top-10 defenses correct for Week 3. The more games we get under our belt, the more we begin to see legitimate trends emerge, and the more we need to re-evaluate our expectations for certain teams that we had coming into the season. We've also had to deal with Pro Football Reference getting rid of two of my favorite stats (Pressure Rate and QB Hurry Rate), so the DOWN formula may need to be tweaked over the week. Which is why, as always, you should make sure you bookmark the link to the rankings GoogleSheet, so you can see the updated rankings as close to kickoff as possible.

LAS VEGAS — Jacoby Brissett said it was a "dumb decision." But why was Jaylen Waddle, in the end zone on a screen pass, even a target option on a 1st-and-10 from the Dolphins' 1-yard line?. "It was a bad play for us," Dolphins coach Brian Flores said. Miami did...
The failures of these first few weeks have certainly sped up the clock on how quickly the Pats need to fix things. Even at 1-2, the Patriots find themselves in surprisingly good company as they peek around the neighborhood to see the other sub-.500 teams who hope they’re just temporarily subletting in this area of the NFL standings. The Chiefs, Steelers, Colts, Seahawks, Bears, and Washington Football Team are all there, too, and each of those clubs is coming off a playoff season. At least a couple others, like the Dolphins and Vikings, expect to at least contend for a place in the postseason this year.

The Dolphins lost in overtime at Las Vegas, 31-28 on Sunday. Jacoby Brissett led an impressive late comeback, but Miami's offense failed to strike on enough big plays. Among the Miami players who did some positive things: Malcolm Brown, Mike Gesicki, Zach Sieler, Elandon Roberts and Brandon Jones. Here's a...
Justin Tucker made NFL history with an incredibly clutch field goal that gave the Baltimore Ravens a 19-17 win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday. Tucker drilled the league's longest field goal with a 66-yarder, besting the previous record of 64 yards set by Matt Prater in 2013. The moment...
The winner of tonight's rivalry matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the visiting Philadelphia Eagles will take a one-game lead in the NFC East and grant their fans bragging rights until the two meet again in the last week of the season. The spotlight will be on stars like running back Ezekiel Elliott and quarterbacks Dak Prescott and Jalen Hurts, but a couple of role players whose stock is rising may be where the value lies in this game's player prop offerings on BetMGM.
After allowing the fourth-most sacks (50) in 2020, the Washington Football Team decided to overhaul the offensive line. Heading into the 2021 season, Washington returned only two starters in center Chase Roullier and right guard Brandon Scherff. The team released veteran starter Morgan Moses after the draft in favor of 2021 second-round pick Sam Cosmi.
