Liberals win 2021 federal election, Canada gets another minority government

OTTAWA, ON – The Liberal Party has won the 2021 federal election, forming another minority government after a 36-day election, the shortest allowed under Canadian law. In the riding of Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies, incumbent Bob Zimmer of the Conservative Party kept his seat with 55 per cent of the vote at the time of publishing.
