Police looking for more leads in Yolanda Bindics case

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office is looking to the public to help them solve the murder of Yolanda Bindics. Bindics, a mother of four children, was reported missing in August of 2004 and was last seen in Jamestown. Her body was found by hunters 30 miles away in Sinclairville in September of 2006.

Pella Captain Haase to Attend FBI National Academy

Pella Police Captain Paul Haase is now undergoing special training over the next several weeks out of state. Haase is heading to the FBI National Academy for leadership training after applying for the prestigious program. Haase is thankful for the opportunity to bring back what he learns in December. In the meantime, many of the duties of Haase will be done by Chief Shane McSheehy and Lt. Shane Cox.

Police: NE Kansas man jailed for driving stolen rental pickup

SALINA—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a northeast Kansas man after an incident in Salina. Earlier this month, the Salina Police Department had received complaints from the City of Salina that someone was driving on the flood control dike on the north side of the city. Motorized vehicles driven by private citizens are not allowed on the dike.
