(Sept. 25, 2021) – The Point University volleyball team looked to bounce back from a two-game losing streak Saturday afternoon, as they hosted Columbia College in an Appalachian Athletic Conference matchup. The Skyhawks dominantly picked up the win, defeating Columbia in three sets, 25-12, 25-19, 26-24. With Saturday's win, Point advances to 6-8 (3-3), and Columbia falls to 1-9 (0-7).

Women’s soccer ties with TWU in double overtime

ATHENS, Tenn. (Sept. 24, 2021) – Carmen Kager connected for the game equalizing goal in the 65th minute, ultimately sending the game into overtime, and after two overtime periods, a golden goal was unable to be scored and the Point University women's soccer team tied with Tennessee Wesleyan 1-1. A minute and 16 seconds into the game, the Bulldogs took an early lead with a through-ball from Rachel Dudley to Cristina Escrig. The Bulldogs would hold onto their early lead for the remainder of the first half, and into the second, until a corner kick from Kager would find the net to tie the match 1-1, where the score would stay for the remainder of the game.
