Sidney warns of spread of invasive plant species

SIDNEY, NE — The spread of an invasive species in Sidney has city officials concerned. Sidney's Code Enforcement Officer mailed over 100 letters Monday morning to property owners where bindweed has been seen. They hope to work with residents and educate them on control and prevention of the invasive species.
