Phinney Ridge’s Acclaimed Opus Co. Plans Swan Song with Tasting Menus

There’s been a mixed bag of news for Opus Co. fans of late. Back in late April, the acclaimed restaurant in Phinney Ridge announced on Instagram it would be closing permanently this fall. But the location will be in good hands, since Opus Co. chef Paolo Campbell has been planning a Filipino fried chicken place at the same address. Now, details are coming into focus on how the transition will proceed.

Permanent closure of Green Lake Way North?

The City of Seattle is considering the permanent closure to vehicles of the road (see image below) that connects Green Lake and Wallingford with Phinney Ridge and Greenwood. However, there has not been any community outreach on this decision. Residents who have experienced the negative effects of this road closure have started a petition to reopen the road and invite all impacted to consider signing it.

New Phinney Ridge restaurant Autumn opens its doors tomorrow

Executive Chef and Restaurateur Brian Clevenger has announced his newest restaurant – Autumn – will officially open in the Phinney Flats building (6727 Greenwood Ave N) on Tuesday, July 6th. Autumn will stay true to what Clevenger does best, offering a selection of handmade pastas, fresh local vegetables, and a variety of seafood dishes.
