Student-Athletes Honored at 59th WNC Sports Awards Banquet

In Buncombe County Schools, athletics provides students additional opportunities to pursue excellence and develop skills for the future. The 59th Western North Carolina Sports Awards Banquet recently honored student-athletes for their achievements, including multiple accomplished competitors from Buncombe County's high schools. The Aug. 15 event was hosted by the Mountain Amateur Athletic Club (MAAC), and honored athletes from this past school year and 2020, when no banquet was held due to the pandemic.

Video Production Tech from TVU Networks Key to Spreading the Joy of Kickball for Main Attraction Recreational Sports.
