Georgia Tech Football: Opponent Previews - Virginia

The ACC’s COVID altered schedule meant that Georgia Tech did not face UVA on the football field for the first time since 1981. The series has been back and forth recently, with each team winning two of the last four matchups. Virginia enters Bronco Mendenhall’s fifth season as head coach, and the former BYU coach has certainly stabilized a program that had been in decline under Mike London. The ‘Hoos did take a step back in 2020 after Bryce Perkins captained the team to a combined 17 wins in 2018-2019. With a roster that ranks only 93rd in Bill Connelly’s returning production metric, are they looking at more of the same in 2021?

LA Rams: Fully vax’d Coach Kevin Carberry tests positive for COVID-19

The LA Rams may be mask-free and COVID-19 compliant, but folks, it’s a long way to Tipperary (or so goes the song). The world changed for us all in 2020, and even as we race to embrace normalcy in 2021, that normalcy seems to be a bit elusive. You see, the hope is that getting two doses of the available Moderna or Pfizer coronavirus vaccines will immunize recipients from contracting the highly contagious disease.

How does DJ Fluker's injury impact Dolphins OL landscape?

The Miami Dolphins have seen a handful of injuries pop up early in the team’s training camp this season, with some notable players being placed on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list at the start of camp. That includes WR DeVante Parker — while fellow receiver Will Fuller missed Thursday’s practice with an injury himself. But the injury news with OL DJ Fluker is of a different variety all together; the Dolphins skipped the PUP list for Fluker and placed him on Injured Reserve yesterday after he received a minor procedure to clean up a knee issue — a move that will sideline him for the time being.

Jets C Connor McGovern 'Fired Up' for Himself and for His Offensive Line

A key component to how well Zach Wilson and the Jets quarterbacks perform this season is the offensive line in front of them. And the early progress report from the man in the middle of that unit is that the OL is feeling frisky just like many other position groups at the start of training camp.

Detroit Lions Host Evan Boehm

The Detroit Lions are looking to possibly fill some OL depth after hosting Evan Boehm earlier today. Boehm's versatility would be a solid addition to the OL but as a whole, is more about depth than anything else.
