Two Wauseon Men Sentenced In Fulton County Common Pleas Court

A pair of Wauseon, Ohio man were sentenced on October 19th, 2021 in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court. Jeremy Neifer, age 45, previously pled guilty to Violating a Protection Order. According to Fulton County Prosecutor Scott Haselman, Mr. Neifer violated the terms of a protection order issued against him.

North Star Seeking Volunteers, Donations For Let’s Build Beds Event

Cridersville to add a new “live-work-play” environment with the Crossroads of NW Ohio

Cridersville will soon be a new hub for shopping, entertainment, and living - thanks to the Crossroads of Northwest Ohio. A groundbreaking ceremony was held Friday at the site of the new project right next to I-75. They are kicking off the development of an expansive "live, work, play" environment. A crowd gathered as they listened to what will become of the hundreds of acres that sit next to the highway. They plan on bringing big-name restaurants and retail stores, living spaces, parks, and even an entertainment district. Community members say they're excited to see Cridersville expand in a way like this.

For the second year in a row, a climate pattern known as "La Niña" has returned and is expected to continue for the upcoming winter. The oceans play a major role in weather as nearly three-fourths of our planet is covered with water. Long-range forecasts in the winter are strongly influenced by the state of ocean temperatures in the Pacific Ocean near the equator. Warmer than normal ocean temperatures represent an El Niño, while colder waters indicate a La Nina pattern. The stronger the anomalies, the more it impacts the weather. The ocean temperatures are strongly influenced by the trade wind patterns in this area.

Williams County grand jury

BRYAN — A Williams County grand jury has indicted 17 persons here, according to Prosecutor Katie Zartman’s office. • James Miller, 25, Coldwater, Mich., for burglary, a second-degree felony; grand theft, a third-degree felony; receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony; and theft, a fifth-degree felony. The indictment alleges that he entered an occupied residence on Ohio 49 near Edon on May 8, stole property valued at $5,734.33 and a firearm, and possessed a stolen pickup.
