The Brooklyn Nets headed into a battle with the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night as three and a half point road favorites even without superstar forward Kevin Durant in uniform due to a scheduled rest day. The Rockets surely took notice of the betting line and they went out and not only covered the spread but they flat-out won the game 114-104. With six players in double figures including 18 from rookie Josh Christopher off the bench, the Rockets thoroughly dismantled the Nets’ defense from start to finish.
