25th Street Theatre sign with new neon, skin to be installed at fire station next week

After a long rebuilding process, a neon sign paying homage to the movie theater that once stood on North 25th Street will be installed Tuesday. The 25th Street Theatre’s big green neon sign was removed before the theater was demolished in 2019, and the reskinned and retrofitted frame will take a new perch in roughly the same spot, this time marking new Waco Fire Department facilities.

Chicago Sky Homage 2021 WNBA Finals Champions T-Shirt

We keep saying Chicago Sky Homage 2021 WNBA Finals Champions T-Shirt . This whole thing is really just a love letter to women everywhere, the women who have been with our brand and the women who hopefully will be in the future,” shares Emily Bibik, BODEQUALITY Customer Lead, who proudly showed off her adorable floral Old Navy dress that she picked up in person, the day before for our interview, at the Fourth and Market Old Navy in a size 26. A simple task that every plus size woman above 3X would have described as a near impossible feat a few weeks ago, and something Bibik had never been able to do in her four years of working at Old Navy until this week. Personally, I can’t help but gleefully imagine what it will be like to pack my suitcase knowing if I do need a garment at the last minute, I will be able to get it easily. And that joy is exactly what this overhaul was hoping to accomplish. Both Bibik and Partridge Stickney were guided by the question, “how might we include the plus-sized consumer in the joy of shopping?”

Neon Pegasus in Dallas Skyline to Undergo Repairs

It's a major part of the Dallas skyline, and the red neon Pegasus atop the Magnolia Hotel is about to undergo a major renovation. The Dallas Morning News reports that a brilliant neon Pegasus icon was placed on top of the headquarters of the Magnolia Oil Company back in 1934. The red Pegasus stayed lit atop the old Magnolia building until 1999, when the rusty symbol was removed and replaced with a shiny new version that was lit on Jan. 1, 2000. The original Pegasus, however, was hidden away in a storage shed until 2015, when it was renovated and placed in front of the Omni Dallas Hotel downtown. That street-level location makes it more visible up close than the high-flying horse on the roof of the Magnolia Hotel.
