Boutique KC hotel will reopen Italian restaurant after pandemic closed it

The Crossroads Hotel plans to reopen its Italian restaurant Lazia on Nov. 12. The restaurant had been closed during the pandemic. Lazia's new lead chef is Justin Kent, who previously has worked at the Classic Cup and The American. The chef de cuisine is Jordan Hayes, who most recently was executive chef at J. Rieger & Co.

The Boerum Hill neighborhood bar and restaurant (336 State Street) is known for its top notch drinks and themed menus.
