Raptors vs. Cavaliers odds, line, spread: 2021 NBA picks, Dec. 26 prediction from proven computer model

When the Toronto Raptors take the court against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday evening, they will do so without a single one of their usual starters. Twelve of the players on the Raptors' roster are listed as out due to injury or health and safety protocols ahead of the matchup, which sets up an advantageous scenario for the Cavaliers. Cleveland isn't without its own depth issues, but at least will have proven players like Darius Garland, Ricky Rubio and Kevin Love available for Sunday's game.

How James Harden returned to form out of NBA's Health and Safety Protocols

LOS ANGELES — To both his admirers and critics, James Harden looked awfully familiar. To his admirers, he handled scoring and play-making duties with stunning accuracy. To his critics, he earned trips to the free-throw line by either flailing or invading an opponent’s airspace. Add it all up in the Brooklyn Nets’ 122-115 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Christmas Day, and Harden collected a triple double in points (36), assists (10) and rebounds (10) much in the same fashion he always has in his 14-year NBA career.

He ranks 27th in steals and 29th in blocked shots. And if you screen for advanced individual stats, there are nine rotation regulars on Draymond Green’s own team that have stingier defensive ratings than he does. But Green is as much a front-runner as anyone to win the 2021-22...
