Kinzie Builders Completes Construction of $20M Luxury Apartment Complex in Mount Prospect, Illinois

MOUNT PROSPECT, ILL. — Kinzie Builders has completed construction of 10 North Main in downtown Mount Prospect, a suburb of Chicago. The $20 million luxury apartment complex rises five stories with 97 units, which range in size from 564 to 1,290 square feet. Amenities include a fitness center, coffee bar, club lounge and outdoor rooftop deck. Kinzie worked alongside owner First Equity Group LLC, developer Harlem Irving Cos. and architect OKW Architects. Other project team members included ECL Engineer Consultants, Pierce Engineering, LETech Inc., V3 Cos. and Kathryn Talty Landscape Architecture.

Pedestrian dies after being struck by SUV in Mount Prospect

A man was struck and killed by an SUV early Sunday morning while walking across Algonquin Road in Mount Prospect, police said Tuesday. Mount Prospect police said officers called to the scene about 12:05 a.m. Sunday arrived to find the man lying in the parkway along Algonquin Road near Linneman Road with serious injuries. The man, whom police have not yet been able to identify, was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Soccer: Prospect Wins Shortened Game Against Leyden

Boys soccer programs at Prospect and Leyden are headed in different directions, especially in the last few weeks. Prospect (7-3, 3-1 in MSL) is 6-1 in the last seven games, while Leyden (2-8) is 1-8 after starting the season with a win.
