Happy Saturday, Mane Landers. It seems like just yesterday that the World Cup was getting underway. Now, we wake to jitters and nervous optimism as the USMNT begins its knockout-stage run this morning. It might be a morning kickoff here in the United States, but I hope it doesn’t detract from you getting to a watch party or gathering with family. The breweries are open, the brunch spots have their TVs on, and/or your grandma is up cooking pancakes. No matter where you choose to catch the match, I hope you know and believe in your heart of hearts that we will win. I know I believe that we will win! Now, on to the links!

For the first time, Minnesota United FC will be hosting a ‘Kitman Sale’ at the National Sports Center. New and unused gear collected over the years from the First Team and the Academy will be up for sale, with all proceeds to be donated to NAMI Minnesota to aid them in their mission of helping spread awareness and resources for mental health during the holiday season. The ‘Kitman Sale’ kicks off on Friday, December 2 and will go through Sunday, December 4. Friday will only be open to Minnesota United Season Ticket Members. Beginning Saturday, December 3 at 10:00 a.m. CT, the sale will be open to the public. Please note that only card payments will be accepted at the Kitman Sale.

Minnesota United Signs Joseph Rosales

Minnesota United announced today the club has signed midfielder Joseph Rosales via transfer from CA Independiente to a one-year contract with club options for 2024 and 2025. Rosales initially joined Minnesota United in August of 2021 on loan from CA Independiente of the Liga Panamena de Futbol. He earned a transfer to MNUFC following the conclusion of the 2022 season. In 2022, Rosales provided depth in the central midfield position, making 24 game appearances throughout the season. He made his first MNUFC start April 10 at Austin FC and went on to start eight MLS matches and two of the club’s three U.S. Open Cup matches in 2022. Rosales also made one game appearance with MNUFC2 in 2022. During his initial 18-month loan with Minnesota, Rosales has 34 game appearances with ten starts.
