Investors Rug-Pulled As “SHIB killer” Snowdog Tumbles From $1500 To $100 In Minutes

A crypto token known as Snowdog, which was presenting itself as a ‘Shiba Inu killer’ appears to be the latest crypto scam that has conned users circa $20 million as the price fell from $1,500 to $100 within minutes today. The founders had urged investors to buy and stake their SDOG tokens as an investment and they would then buy them back with huge profits in 8 days. None of that took place as Thursday dawned.

Stablecoin Savings Exceed $150 Billion, Stablecoins Commands Over 50% Of Global Encryption Trade Volume

The second-largest stablecoin in terms of market capitalization is usd coin (USDC) with $37.6 billion, increasing by 15.2% in 30 days. Stablecoins have been a hotly debated issue in the digital money world as the development of these dollar-fixed tokens in 2021 has been very critical. Fundamentally, a stablecoin is a sort of digital currency that use the worth of an outside reference like the U.S. dollar or another fiat currency. The biggest stablecoin today as far as market capitalization is tie (USDT) as its present market valuation is $73.95 billion. During the most recent 30 days, USDT’s market valuation has expanded by 3.9%.

Stablecoin Economy Surges Past $150B, Stablecoins Command Over 50% of Global Crypto Trade Volume

A great number of digital currencies have swelled in value this year and as the end of 2021 approaches, the market capitalization of all 11,000+ crypto assets in existence is roughly $2.6 trillion. These days, it’s safe to say that dollar-pegged tokens, otherwise known as stablecoins, have a strong presence in the crypto market. Today the market capitalization of all the stablecoins in the world is more than $152 billion or 5.84% of the crypto economy’s USD value.

1st memecoin on Avalanche SnowdogDAO (SDOG) lost over 90% value in a $30 million rugpull

The first memecoin to launch on Avalanche SnowdogDAO (SDOG) lost more than 90% of its value yesterday in what many believe to be the platform’s largest rug pull. SnowdogDAO, a decentralized reserve memecoin based on Avalanche, failed spectacularly yesterday after appearing for just 8 days. Launched as an 8-day experiment slated to end with a massive buyback, SDOG has garnered a lot of attention in the crypto community.

Analyst Ben Armstrong shares 4 reasons this hidden asset is the next explosive altcoin

Widely-followed crypto trader Ben Armstrong shares with his subscribers 3 reasons Wonderland (TIME) is the next altcoin to the moon. Wonderland is the first decentralized reserve currency protocol available on the Avalanche Network based on the TIME token. Each TIME token is backed by a basket of assets such as MIM, TIME-AVAX LP Tokens etc in the Wonderland treasury, giving it an intrinsic value that it cannot fall below.

A multichannel color filter with the functions of optical sensor and switch

This paper reports a multichannel color filter with the functions of optical sensor and switch. The proposed structure comprises a metal"“insulator"“metal (MIM) bus waveguide side-couples to six circular cavities with different sizes for filtering ultra-violet and visible lights into individual colors in the wavelength range of 350"“700Â nm. We used the finite element method to analyze the electromagnetic field distributions and transmittance properties by varying the structural parameters in detail. The designed plasmonic filter takes advantage of filtering out different colors since the light-matter resonance and interference between the surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) modes within the six cavities. Results show that the designed structure can preferentially select the desired colors and confine the SPPS modes in one of the cavities. This designed structure can filter eleven color channels with a small full width at half maximum (FWHM) ~"‰2Â nm. Furthermore, the maximum values of sensitivity, figure of merit, quality factor, dipping strength, and extinction ratio can achieve of 700Â nm/RIU, 350 1/RIU, 349.0, 65.04%, and 174.50Â dB, respectively, revealing the excellent functions of sensor performance and optical switch, and offering a chance for designing a beneficial nanophotonic device.

Why I Love Charitable Giving at the Holidays

I love charitable giving at the holidays. A lot of us really do not need more stuff. That’s why I love charitable giving at the holidays. There are so many ways to support the communities and causes your friends and family love. And it doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t have something for them to open! You can buy goods from companies and organizations that give back, or buy a membership to a museum, zoo or more. Here’s a few ways to give back this year.

11-22-21: Child Care System, VA Whistleblower Book, The MIM

Arizona's child care system has been an issue of concern for years, with claims of neglect, a lack of state funding and the mis-handling of opportunities for "federal" funds. Paula Pedene became a whistle-blower while working for the VA hospital in Phoenix. There's a new exhibit at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, it's called "Treasures: Legendary Musical Instruments."

Microwave impedance microscopy and its application to quantum materials

Materials in which quantum mechanical effects lead to novel properties on the macroscopic scale are of interest both fundamentally and for applications. For such quantum materials, the ability to measure local conductivity and permittivity with nanoscale spatial resolution, minimal sample preparation, in a contact-free fashion and under a wide range of external conditions (such as temperature and magnetic field) is highly desirable. To this end, microwave impedance microscopy, a scanning probe technique that measures tip"“sample admittance (inverse of impedance) in a non-contact geometry at microwave frequencies, has matured over the past decade to become a tool that can do just that. This Technical Review describes its fundamental working principles and practical implementations, discusses its application to a wide range of quantum materials, including correlated, topological and 2D van der Waals materials, and outlines future opportunities in expanding the capabilities of microwave impedance microscopy.
