It was just Saturday morning on ESPN's 'College Game Day' where college football analyst and color commentator Kirk Herbstreit questioned the heart of the LSU football program. "What I see is individuality", Herbstreit said. "I see guys that quit. I see guys who don't want to play for the LSU brand, that's very new."

LSU rolls into Oxford this Saturday with a burden off of their chest: they know when Ed Orgeron will be leaving the program. Paul Finebaum: Ed Orgeron staying at LSU is virtually impossible

Highly-regarded radio host and SEC Network personality Paul Finebaum had some blunt and direct words about Ed Orgeron and his job stability at LSU. LSU has been trending downward since Orgeron took LSU to a national championship in 2019 — or should I say Joe Burow took LSU to a national championship in 2019. The Tigers are 8-8 since that title game and 3-4 this season. ESPN’s FPI projects LSU to finish 4-8 this year.

Where LSU opponents rank in the week 6 USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll

Another Saturday has come and gone, the LSU Tigers had an opportunity to knock off a top 25 team that came into the game undefeated. Unfortunately for the Bayou Bengals, the team was never in the game against the Kentucky Wildcats. Once they scored their first touchdown of the game, they led wire-to-wire. The Tigers were able to put points on the board but not until after UK built a 35-7 lead in the third quarter.
