Dalia Rooni: Actor & Writer

Dalia Rooni is a Middle Eastern- American, NYU trained actor, writer who is best known for her lead role in the film “A Dance of Lust and Calculus” which screened at San Diego's COMIC CON in 2018, for her supporting role in “Grey Matter” by Sahar Jahani, and for writing and starring in the award winning short film “Operation: White Boy” which made its debut at Diversity in Cannes Film Festival in 2021. In addition, Dalia produced the short film “Final Capture” that premiered earlier this year. Currently, Dalia is working as an associate producer on Mandy Fabian’s feature “Jess Plus None”, and has been accepted into AFI’s Screenwriting program. Dalia has most recently placed in the top 3% for the WWFC’s pilot accelerator for her pilot “Ethnically Ambiguous”, and will have the opportunity to pitch to major networks such as HBO, Hulu and Comedy Central later this year.
