Effective: 2022-01-03 15:54:00 PST Expires: 2022-01-04 07:00:00 PST Urgency: Expected Severity: Moderate Certainty: Likely Target Area: Western Plumas County, Lassen Park Winter Weather Continues through Early Tuesday .A weather system continues to bring snow to the mountains of interior NorCal through early Tuesday. The heaviest snow will occur over the mountains north of Redding into the evening and over Plumas County and the Lassen Park area above 4,000 feet tonight into Tuesday. Lighter snowfall accumulations will impact travel over the Northern Sierra Interstate 80 and Highway 50 tonight into Tuesday. Strong winds will also accompany this weather system and could cause limited visibility at times as well as downed tree branches and weakened trees. The strongest winds will be over Plumas County and eastern Shasta County above 4,000 feet where gusts up to 65+ mph will be possible, causing downed trees and power lines.
