FORT WORTH, Tex — No. 1 seed Kansas advanced in the NCAA Tournament on Thursday night with a dominant 83-56 win over Texas Southern. The Jayhawks only led the Tigers by two points at the first media timeout. But a 34-14 run over 10 minutes allowed KU to pull away. From there, the Jayhawks never looked back on their way to a blowout victory. Up next is a game against Creighton on Saturday.
