Age of Empires IV released an announcement stating that the servers would go down for scheduled server maintenance. On 6 December 2021 at 10:01 PM CET Age of Empires IV posted a tweet stating the following, “IN ONE HOUR, Multiplayer servers for Age I, II, III:DE and IV will be down for maintenance. Please make sure you finalize any MP games at least 10 minutes prior.”
