Tranent reach Scottish Cup third round as Dunbar taken to replay and Haddington and Preston knocked out

TRANENT Juniors reached the third round of the Scottish Cup after continuing their exceptional record against Lowland League teams with another famous cup win on Saturday. The Belters were 2-0 winners in Alloa against Broomhill, the third Lowland League club they have knocked out of the Scottish Cup in the last two seasons, after wins over Edinburgh University and East Stirlingshire last season. Shaun Rutherford and Ben Miller were the Tranent goalscorers this time.
