Police confirm Laundrie family picked up Brian’s car from the reserve, possible he could have hurt himself

NORTH PORT, Fla. (WWSB) - After ending last night’s search due to inclement weather, authorities are back in North Port searching for Brian Laundrie. Police confirmed today that Brian’s mustang was picked up by the Laundrie family at the Carlton Reserve. Brian’s car was at the Laundrie house Friday night when police arrived. The North Port Police also say it is possible Brian could have hurt himself, but it is also possible that he did not.

Hot Rods regular season finale canceled

The Bowling Green Hot Rods' regular season finale was washed away, with Sunday’s game against Wilmington called after two innings due to inclement weather. Bowling Green was leading 1-0 in the third inning when the decision was made to cancel the game. It was the second game in the series to be canceled due to inclement weather.

FHC offering free COVID-19 testing

The Family Health Centers Inc. is offering free COVID-19 mobile testing. The testing sites will be held in different communities across Orangeburg, Bamberg, Calhoun and Dorchester counties from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, Sept. 20-24, with a lunch break from 1 to 2 p.m. The testing sites will include drive-thru stations. If inclement weather occurs, the testing sites will be closed.

Berwick Town Market open Saturday
