Containment of Snake River Complex Grows Slightly to 87 Percent

LEWISTON - Governor Brad Little flew over the fire complex Tuesday to assess the fire area and observe the fire fighters hard work keeping homes, infrastructure, and property safe. Afterwards he met with National Guard troops and looked over Black Hawk helicopters helping respond to wildfires. The acreage of the Snake River Complex was listed as 108,794 and 87% contained as of Wednesday morning. The complex is located about 20 miles south of Lewiston.
