More than 300 films from around the globe to be showcased at 52nd IFFI

IFFI this year would have a hybrid format owing to the Covid-19 situation; to begin on November 20. More than 300 films from around the globe will be on showcase at the prestigious International Film Festival of India (IFFI) this time around. To get underway in Goa from November 20, the festival, which is into its 52nd edition, has a major hassle this time around too like last year, with the Covid-19 pandemic far from being gone.

Nedumudi Venu, one of India’s finest actors, passed away today afternoon at the age of 73. Venu was undergoing treatment for stomach-related ailments at a hospital in Kerala. Beginning his career as a theater actor, Nedumudi Venu made his debut in Malayalam films way back in 1978 with G. Aravindan’s film Thambu. The actor handled many versatile roles in a remarkable career and was quite active as an actor till the last days.
