Review: 'Worth' raises important questions about a life's value after Sept. 11

If it feels like you've been seeing a lot of Michael Keaton lately, that's because he happens to be everywhere at the moment. The former Batman had a small role last year in "The Trial of the Chicago 7," recently starred in the action-thriller "The Protege" and will also be featured prominently in the Hulu series "Dopesick," which is set to premiere Oct. 13. Keaton also has two comic book movies coming out next year in "Morbius" and "The Flash," where he'll play Batman again for the first time since 1992's "Batman Returns."

Want to be an extra in 'Rustin'? Look like you're from the '60s and get to know Rose Locke

It’s a bit unusual for an outside casting company to handle extras casting in Pittsburgh. Then again, “Rustin” is no ordinary movie. The Pittsburgh Film Office confirmed earlier this month that Netflix’s biopic of civil rights leader Bayard Rustin will film here. “Rustin” is from Barack and Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground Productions, and its director, George C. Wolfe, also directed “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom” in the region. Filming is scheduled to start Sept. 27 and run through mid-December.

Rose Locke Casting CASTING EXTRAS FOR AN UPCOMING FEATURE FILM!! Washington DC

I have been asked to come to cast a new film in the DC area and we are currently seeking background actors. “Rustin” is a Netflix/Higher Ground Productions (look this up) co-venture about Bayard Rustin, a Civil Rights Movement icon who worked behind the scenes in many of the movement’s keystone moments, including the organization of the 1963 March on Washington that culminated in Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech. We will be recreating portions of the march and other historic events from the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960’s.

Upcoming Netflix Original Movies You Need To Know About

In less than a decade, Netflix has transformed from a digital alternative to Blockbuster into one of the most ambitious studios in Hollywood. After Cary Joji Fukunaga's critically acclaimed war epic "Beasts of No Nation" made a splash at award shows in 2015, Netflix has only increased its output of original films. In 2021 alone, Netflix will distribute well over 100 new films alongside their lineup of exclusive shows and docuseries.
