Body of missing kayaker found

HAZEL GREEN, Ala. (WAFF) - The Hazel Fire and Rescue has confirmed that it found the body of the missing kayaker in Hazel Green just before 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. Multiple agencies were searching for the man after he was possibly sucked into a storm drain while kayaking near Hazel Green High School.

Students at Cedar Hill Elementary School gathered around the flagpole, as the American flag was brought to half staff. The company needs to fill ten manager positions and 25 team member positions. If you're interested, the job fair will be held on Sept. 14. There will be a job fair at eight locations in Madison County, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Maureen Munger

Maureen Munger passed away peacefully at age 87 on September 4th, surrounded by her family. Maureen was born in Dodgeville, Wisconsin on September 6th, 1933 to James and Carolyn Sauer. She grew up in Darlington, Wisconsin and attended Holy Rosary Catholic School. After her father tragically passed away at the age of 33, they moved to a farm outside of Gratiot, Wisconsin.
