Police arrest 18 for DUI

During the week of Sept. 6-12, Hawaii Island police arrested 18 motorists for DUI. Two of the drivers were involved in a traffic accident. One of the drivers was younger than 21. The numbers of arrests by district were: South Kohala, six; Puna, five; Kona, four; and South Hilo, three.
