Levine to be inducted into Greater Cleveland Sports Hall

Former Cleveland Jewish News Sports Columnist Les Levine will be posthumously inducted into the Greater Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame Oct. 19. Levine, whose career started in radio and then branched out to television, wrote a weekly column for the Cleveland Jewish News and the Columbus Jewish News until his death Feb. 3 at age 74, after a battle with diabetes and Parkinson’s disease.

Police still looking for family of baby found at RTA bus station in Cleveland’s Glenville neighborhood

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Police and the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority are looking for the public’s help identifying a baby girl left at a bus stop Saturday night. A citizen discovered the baby and contacted the RTA police at 8:56 p.m. The caller told police that the baby was naked and her feet were purple, according to a police report from the RTA police.

The Greater Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame just announced their latest group of former athletes and sports media personalities that have represented Cleveland area sports over the years.
